Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled robotics engineer to develop cutting-edge solutions for precision agriculture. The ideal candidate will have expertise in control systems, motor control, sensor fusion, and real-time algorithms.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and implement high-precision gimbal & motor control systems for real-time laser targeting.
- Develop robust BLDC motor control algorithms with microsecond precision.
- Integrate with the AI & perception team to connect weed detection with precision actuation.
- Build sensor fusion pipelines combining IMU, GNSS, RTK, odometry, and custom sensors.
- Test and tune control systems in real-world field conditions, including dust, heat, vibrations, and uneven terrain.
- Scale work to multi-laser, multi-unit robotic platforms for agriculture.
- Implement safety mechanisms, redundancy, and fail-safe protocols for field deployment.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate actuators, gimbals, and hardware subsystems.
Requirements:
- Experience with BLDC motor control and precision positioning systems.
- Strong knowledge of control theory (PID, adaptive control, state-space).
- Hands-on programming in C++/Python on embedded systems.
- Experience with ROS/ROS2 and communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet).
- Comfort working at the intersection of hardware + software + field testing.
