Role: Product Owner for Grid Code Compliance

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead our team in ensuring grid code compliance and connections within sales and project phases.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of grid code requirements, software development processes, and test cases. They will be responsible for translating grid code requirements into abstract software requirements and test cases, while ensuring that no requirement exists without a corresponding test case.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Defining Test Plans: For grid code compliance and quality assurance on wind farm, wind turbine, and component levels.
  • Performing Tests: Evaluating, and documenting grid code compliance tests.
  • Analyzing Data: To identify areas for improvement.
  • Specifying New Functions: And features to enhance grid code compliance on wind farm and wind turbine levels.
  • Maintaining Capabilities: A clear picture of the capabilities of Nordex products to rate grid code compliance.
  • Optimizing Processes: Within grid code compliance.

Required Skills Include:

  • Experience: With grid code requirements.
  • Test Case Definition: Ability to define test cases and ideally test-driven development.
  • Grid Code Knowledge: Good knowledge of grid code compliance on power plant level and software details.
  • Programming Experience: In Python or similar supporting test analysis and automation.
  • Self-Responsible Working: Self-responsible, structured, customer-oriented working mindset.
  • Intercultural Understanding: Intercultural understanding and ability to work collaboratively with teams across functions and geographies.
