Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at MERGEN CORPORATES PRIVATE LIMITED. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Docker.
  • Provision and manage AWS infrastructure resources using services such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, and others.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK to automate resource provisioning and configuration.
  • Utilize tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef to automate the deployment and configuration of infrastructure resources.
  • Manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration platforms.
  • Set up and configure monitoring tools to track the performance and health of systems and applications.
  • Work closely with development, operations, and other teams to facilitate collaboration and communication.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, or others is crucial.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git is essential.
  • Familiarity with tools like Terraform for provisioning and managing infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is important, along with expertise in deploying and managing resources using these platforms.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
  • Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Grafana, or Nagios for tracking the performance and health of systems and applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with development, operations, and other teams.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve issues in complex distributed systems.
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Perl.
