This project marks a significant milestone for Aditya Birla Group, as it will be India's first Copper Tube Manufacturing facility. The goal is to improve cost competitiveness in the AC manufacturing sector by developing a local component manufacturing ecosystem.

Position Summary

  • Operate machinery involved in copper tube manufacturing processes, including casting machines, rolling machines, drawing & grooving machines, level winders annealing furnaces, and finishing equipment.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure smooth operation and meet daily targets, detect abnormalities, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on intermediate and final products to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, including lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and diagnose equipment issues, mechanical failures, or malfunctions, and implement corrective actions to restore functionality.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate protective gear, handling materials safely, and following lockout/tagout/try out procedures during maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment maintenance activities, and quality control checks as per company protocols.
  • Coordinate with production teams, supervisors, and maintenance technicians to ensure effective communication and collaboration in resolving issues and achieving production targets.
