This position reports to Senior Project Engineer.

Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity.

  • Complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner.
  • Apply basic design thinking and design for excellence concepts in projects.

The work model for the role is LI-Onsite.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Distribution Solution division at Nashik, India.

Key Accountabilities
  • Evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.
  • Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Assist in preparing proposal and presentation of engineering projects.
  • Utilize checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.

Qualifications for the Role

You are immersed in Mechanical Design Engineering team in Switchgear business.

  • Have 2-5 years of experience in Mechanical Design of MV Switchgear GIS.
  • Have hands-on experience in SheetMetal Design and preparing engineering drawings and Bill of Material BOM.
  • Possess enhanced knowledge of SolidWorks 3D AutoCAD.
  • Hold a degree in Mechanical engineering and should be full-time.
  • Be at ease communicating in English.
