Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Finance Consultant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with expertise in Oracle Fusion applications to make a meaningful contribution to our organization.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience working with Oracle Financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash and Expense Management. They will be responsible for providing functional support for ERP Fusion Finance applications, identifying and applying creative approaches to resolve product implementation and integration obstacles, and managing functional requests from end-users.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-energy team. They will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional support for ERP Fusion Finance applications (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM, IC, Tax, Expense).
  • Identify and apply creative approaches to resolve product implementation and integration obstacles and problems.
  • Manage functional requests from end-user community.
  • Define functional request priorities, write functional specifications, and coordinate developments with technical team.
  • Review Oracle fusion quarterly functional updates, understand, map to business needs, test/validate cross-functional, and deploy them upon business confirmation.
  • Design and develop OTBI reports, FRC reports, and write basic data extraction queries using SQL.
  • Support and manage all Finance and third-party integrations.
  • Establish/define reconciliation process and reports and support business users during month-end and year-end reconciliation process.
  • Design and define process-wise custom fusion roles and provide data access as appropriate.
  • Work with Oracle support team for application bugs/enhancements.
  • Encourage business to use Oracle standard functionalities and reports.
  • Map business requirements and translate these requirements into Oracle Applications functional specifications.
  • Develop unit test scripts and coordinate User Acceptance Testing of system enhancements or custom solutions.
  • Work with Oracle to resolve service requests.
  • Lead and direct system life cycle phases:
  • Handle period closing and reconciliation process between sub-ledger and third-party systems.
  • Reports build and customization based on end-user requirements.
  • Train end-user community on systems where applicable.
  • Participate in audits of system use, detect and collect issues, implement action plan, and coordinate actions.
  • Adhere and support existing ITIL service management processes, such as change management, incident management, and problem management.
  • Embrace and adhere to support service level agreements agreed with end-user community.
  • Regularly communicate to users the status of support or enhancement requests.
  • Collaborate with ERP support teams across other domains to ensure timely resolution of incidents.
  • Work collaboratively with project team(s) and end-users to develop, test, and implement Oracle Cloud solutions.
