Job Opportunity: Plant AdministratorJob Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless and efficient operation of daily office activities.

  • Security Management:
    • Implement robust physical and logical security measures, including CCTV cameras for the facility.
    • Organize training sessions for guards on behavioral training, safety training, and firefighting.
    • Conduct periodic fire drills and maintain fire extinguishers in good condition.
    • Verify vehicle inward-outward registration and inspect vehicle documents at the entrance.
    • Define roles and responsibilities of security personnel.
  • Facility Management:
    • Oversee cleanliness and hygiene, as well as overall maintenance of facilities.
    • Negotiate contracts to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
    • Manage inventory of housekeeping supplies.
    • Conduct surprise inspections to ensure adherence to standards.
    • Maintain high standards of housekeeping in collaboration with vendors.
    • Procure materials, purchase equipment, and monitor stock levels.
    • Perform routine office maintenance tasks, renew service contracts for ACs, printers, telephones, water purifiers, and television sets.
    • Coordinate with government agencies and officials.

    • Ensure timely maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, electrical, and mechanical systems.
    • Regularly conduct audits, identify risks, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
    • Arrange business meetings, seminars, office events, team gatherings, picnics, and other functions.
  • Canteen Management:
    • Administer the company canteen and supervise staff.
    • Ensure the dining hall maintains high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
    • Participate in internal and external audits.
    • Manage crockery, cutlery, glassware, linen, and pantry equipment.
    • Implement effective waste management practices.
    • Negotiate with caterers based on quality, timeliness, quantity, hygiene, and proximity.
    • Arrange snacks and lunch for employees and guests.
    • Provide mineral water, tea, and coffee vending machines.
  • Transportation Management:
    • Coordinate bus routes, vehicle maintenance, and employee transportation.
    • Monitor mileage and optimize vehicle utilization.
    • Optimize routes and check vehicle utilization and non-utilization.
    • Arrange safety and security training for drivers and employees.
    • Periodically inspect vehicle fitness, medical tests of drivers, PUC, driving licenses, insurance, taxes, etc.
    • Make travel arrangements, including air and train bookings, taxi services, and hotel reservations.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Establish relationships with vendors and agencies for effective corporate partnerships and AMCs.
    • Renew contracts, verify invoices, and follow up for prompt payment.
