Financial Operations Professional

We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Professional to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for finance and operations.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire process of share transfers, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and legal requirements. They will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth transfer processes, including obtaining necessary approvals and preparing required documentation. Additionally, they will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of share ownership and all related transactions.

Partners' Books Maintenance:

The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely maintenance of financial records and books of partners. They will prepare and update financial statements for partners, including calculating profit shares. Furthermore, they will support audit processes and prepare relevant documentation as needed.

Financial Reporting:

We are looking for someone who can assist in the preparation of financial reports: monthly, quarterly, and annual. They will analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities; present actionable findings to management.

Compliance & Governance:

The selected candidate will ensure adherence to internal control systems, company policies, and applicable laws/regulations. They will also assist in establishing and implementing best practices for finance operations to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Collaboration:

We value candidates who can work closely with other finance team members, auditors, and external parties to ensure seamless operations and compliance. They will provide support for finance-related projects as required, including process improvements and system upgrades.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory: CMA qualification (Cost & Management Accountant), fully qualified or in advanced stage.
  • At least 2 years of experience in finance operations, specifically in share transfers and partners' books maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Proficient user of accounting software; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
