Senior GST Compliance Manager

We seek a seasoned Senior GST Compliance Manager to oversee and manage end-to-end GST compliance processes for multiple companies. This role requires strong leadership and technical expertise in GST law, rules, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. GST Compliance: Ensure timely preparation, filing, and reconciliation of various GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, GSTR-6, and GSTR-8.
  2. Review and Validation: Review and validate GST computation, tax liability, and input tax credit claimed or reversed.
  3. Discrepancies and Resolution: Address and resolve discrepancies in GST return filing.
  4. Registration and SCN: Obtain new GST registration, amend existing registration, and respond to Show Cause Notice (SCN) related to registration.
Team Leadership and Guidance
  1. Leadership and Guidance: Lead, guide, and mentor a team of four members, allocate tasks, and ensure deliverables within timelines.
  2. Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance, including developments and updates, to the team.
  3. Query Resolution: Resolve queries related to GST law and compliance requirements.
  4. Performance Monitoring: Monitor team performance and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements: The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in indirect tax with at least 5 years in GST compliance, prior experience in managing a team is preferred.

Skills: Comprehensive understanding of GST law, rules, and regulations, proficiency in GST compliance software and ERP systems, analytical skills, problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight timelines.
