Job Title: Chartered Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team in India. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive accounting, taxation, auditing, financial planning, and compliance services to our domestic Indian clientele.

The ideal candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of Indian financial regulations, direct and indirect taxation, statutory audits, and financial reporting standards. A strong analytical and problem-solving skillset is essential for this role, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About the Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and finalization of financial statements as per Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and applicable accounting guidelines.
  • Conduct statutory and internal audits ensuring adherence to compliance requirements laid down by ICAI and regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare, review, and file Income Tax returns, GST returns, and other statutory compliance documents.
  • Manage audits including statutory, tax, internal, and compliance audits.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services, ensuring clients comply with relevant taxation regulations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate compliance with ROC filings, tax audits, and regulatory reporting.
  • Offer guidance and support for corporate finance activities, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Liaise with government authorities, regulatory agencies, and banking institutions as necessary.
  • Maintain client relationships through regular interactions, providing strategic financial advice and solutions.
  • Keep abreast of changes in taxation laws, regulatory updates, and accounting standards.
  • Train and mentor junior accountants, facilitating their professional growth.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAI is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Indian accounting, taxation, and statutory audits.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ind AS, GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, and regulatory compliances.
  • Experience in reputable accounting firms or corporate financial roles preferred.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and taxation tools.
