A Standard Cell Characterization Specialist is needed to develop and support standard cell libraries, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive libraries from scratch, guaranteeing efficient designs and seamless workflows.
  • Collaborate with the layout team to define floor plans and design guidelines for schematics, leading to enhanced productivity.
  • Design and implement combinatorial, power management, and sequential circuits using industry-standard EDA tools.
  • Verify circuit functionality, performance, and power through equivalence checks and testing.
  • Generate detailed views of libraries across various custom PVT corners, supporting diverse design requirements.
  • Model new and existing cells to facilitate integration with industry-wide design tools and flows.
  • Maintain accurate records of work processes, design flows, and reports, ensuring transparency and accountability.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of EDA tools, including RC-extraction, SPICE simulators, and schematic/layout editors. They should be proficient in working with views like lef, NLDM, CCS, and .LIB.

This role demands a strong understanding of circuit design principles, combined with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be able to streamline manual tasks, reducing overall time and effort, and making a significant contribution to the organization's success.
