Tower Design & Estimation Expert

We're seeking a seasoned Tower Design and Estimation professional to lead our transmission line and telecom tower projects. As a critical member of our infrastructure team, you'll design, estimate, plan, and execute projects with a strong focus on quality, cost, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed tower designs in compliance with international standards, including IS/IEC specifications.
  • Create bill of quantities (BOQ), bill of materials (BOM), and cost estimates for tendering and project execution.
  • Evaluate client requirements, tender documents, and provide technical and commercial proposals.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, and site execution teams to ensure design alignment with project objectives.
  • Perform load analysis, prototype development support, and optimization of tower design for cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead estimation processes for domestic and international transmission and substation projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessment, and value engineering for new projects.
  • Support planning, scheduling, and resource management to meet project deadlines.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and third-party inspection agencies for design approvals and clarifications.
  • Implement ERP/SAP systems for estimation, planning, and inventory management.
Requirements:
  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Civil Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-12+ years of experience in Tower Design, Estimation, and Project Planning in Power Transmission/Telecom Tower industry.
  • Proficiency in design software (STAAD, PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, MS Tower) and ERP tools (SAP/JDE).
  • Strong knowledge of international standards (IS, IEC, ASCE, ASTM, etc.).
  • Experience in global tendering and estimation for OHTL, Substations, and Telecom Tower projects.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
