About This Role

We are seeking an expert in economic analysis to join our team. The ideal candidate will conduct research on economic issues, collect data, and analyze it using analytical models and statistical techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement research agendas and report concepts, with a minimum of one detailed report per year.
  2. Engage with government agencies, universities, think tanks, and other organizations on research assignments, resulting in at least one co-authored report/publication with stakeholders.
  3. Identify areas of focus for research initiatives, working with various stakeholders to determine topics.
  4. Prepare discussion points and talking points for meetings and forums, providing relevant content and supporting the department.
  5. Make presentations in various fora's and deliver crisp presentations during committee/council/government meetings.
  6. Interpret issues and concerns raised by stakeholders, recommending solutions to address these issues.

Qualifications

  • Post Graduate in Economics from a leading university.
  • Thought leadership and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent domain knowledge and understanding.
  • Conceptualization and consultative skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
