Job Summary

The role of DevOps Expert involves partnering with internal product groups and development teams to design technical processes for continuous integration and deployment.

This position requires collaboration with Development, Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams to provide agility within a defined delivery process.

  • Key responsibilities include providing the right level of agility, collaborating on CI/CD skills, and working effectively in a diverse team striving for excellence.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong CI/CD skills, be forward-thinking, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a highly talented team.

The successful DevOps Expert will join in supporting all CI/CD tools operational needs, including enhancements, vulnerability management, patching, upgrades, and complete lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field and/or 10+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience delivering and supporting enterprise customer-facing solutions.
  • Designing and developing enterprise-class distributed CI/CD Tools/systems.
  • Leading the designing and developing enterprise-class distributed CI/CD Tools/systems.
  • Automation/integration effort for end-user Onboarding for enterprise systems (CI/CD Tools).
  • Interacting with customers to analyze, validate, specify, verify, document, and manage solution requirements.
  • Development experience in .Net, Python, and/or Java, public/private cloud environments (AWS/Azure), and Automation/Continuous Integration (Terraform, SonarQube, Jenkins, BitBucket, Harness, etc.).
  • SDLC including associated deployment methodologies, Onboarding, QA processes, performance tuning efforts, and Source Code Management with GitLab.
  • Implementing and supporting a large Nexus Repository Management environment.
Desirable Skills
  • 12+ years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry or other highly regulated industries.
  • Previous Development/System Engineering experience in heterogeneous environments.
  • Working knowledge of automation and configuration management tools like Salt, Ansible, etc.
  • Effective management of multiple technology projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
