Job Title: Senior Data EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead our team of big data engineers. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data processing systems, leading cross-functional teams, and collaborating with clients to understand their requirements.
  • Develop complex data pipelines that integrate multiple data sources, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, and flat files.
  • Design and implement scalable and efficient data architectures using Apache Spark, Hadoop, and other big data technologies.
  • Leverage your expertise in Azure Databricks, cloud infrastructure providers, and data modeling to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to communicate project status, risks, and dependencies, ensuring timely delivery and value realization.
  • Maintain high levels of quality, security, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience with batch processing, streaming data pipelines, and data warehousing.
  • Expertise in Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and Hadoop, with hands-on experience in building and optimizing large-scale data processing jobs.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure providers, data modeling, and data mapping, with knowledge of NOSQL databases and data ETL processing tools.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, DevOps practices, and Git version control.
