Job Title

As a Training Strategist, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing comprehensive learning programs that enhance luxury retail excellence. Your focus will be on creating exceptional customer experiences and continuous upskilling initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the overall training strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify training needs through performance analysis and collaborate with leadership to design customized programs.
  • Create a training roadmap for all levels - frontline staff, store managers, employees, and leadership teams.
  • Work closely with Retail Operations, Merchandising, and HR to embed training in organizational culture.
  • Design and deliver training modules on customer service, clienteling, selling skills, brand storytelling, and bespoke service.
  • Develop product knowledge sessions in collaboration with design/merchandising teams.
  • Implement e-learning and blended learning solutions to enhance accessibility and engagement.
  • Ensure consistency in brand training delivery across all stores and regions.
  • Monitor effectiveness of training programs through assessments, mystery audits, customer feedback, and sales performance metrics.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting metrics for training impact and ROI.
  • Standardize induction programs for all new hires.
  • Introduce innovative learning methodologies (digital platforms, gamification, microlearning).
  • Stay updated with luxury retail training trends, competitor benchmarks, and best practices.
  • Develop and implement a framework to evaluate training effectiveness at all levels.
  • Measure pre- and post-training impact on key business metrics such as sales conversion, average transaction value, repeat customer rate.
  • Collect and analyze participant feedback, customer feedback, and manager inputs to refine programs continuously.
  • Generate regular reports on training outcomes for leadership, highlighting actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Benchmark training impact against industry standards to ensure competitive advantage.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
  • 10-12 years of experience in Training & Development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Prior experience in luxury retail, fashion, or hospitality is mandatory.
  • Exposure to digital learning platforms, instructional design, and global training standards preferred.
