Compliance Officer Role

Job Title: Compliance Officer

We are seeking a skilled Compliance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all regulatory submissions are uploaded to the IRDA portal in a timely manner, in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of regulatory registers and ensure they are submitted to IRDAI on time.
  • Communicate with regulators as per regulations, including notifications for branch openings and closings, directorship changes, and regulatory charges levied.
  • Update and track salesperson and SP details on the IIB Envoy Portal.
  • Ensure all applicable licenses are obtained, renewed, and coordinated with relevant stakeholders.
  • Issue NOCs for exited SPs and detag PAN from IRDA & Envoy.
  • Apply for telemarketing licenses and submit regulatory data to IRDAI.
  • Track and renew licenses, including IRDAI CA, PO, ISNP, Envoy, and other licenses.
  • Maintain the regulatory checklist, including IRDAI data maintenance, registers, timely submissions, grievances, etc.
  • Coordinate with finance, product teams, and insurers for reconciliation sign-off and ensure gaps identified in recon are followed up.
  • Maintain agreements, SLAs, and commission structures for insurers.
  • Track grievances from the grievance team, insurers, and coordinate resolution with insurers, business, product, and branch teams.
  • Provide audit checklists and coordinate with functional audit teams to track audit resolutions for branches.
  • Conduct compliance checks on AML and provide checklists to compliance teams.
  • Bookkeep litigation of insurance cases, update regulators as needed, and perform other delegated activities.

Experience: 4-8 years in a similar domain.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and IRDA portal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
