Regulatory Specialist Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Regulatory Specialist with a strong background in the power sector. The ideal candidate will have expertise in regulatory frameworks and a proven track record of working within them.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Draft, compile, and submit regulatory petitions, compliance reports, replies to queries, and objections raised by commissions or stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough analysis on existing policies, tariff orders, and guidelines to ensure alignment with statutory frameworks.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Electrical, Power, Energy, or related discipline, accompanied by a Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Finance or Power Management.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in the power sector regulatory framework, including hands-on expertise in ARR filings, tariff determination, and petitions before State Electricity Regulatory Commissions (SERCs)/Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC).
