Job Title: Shift Manager

The role of a shift manager involves overseeing the daily operations of the data center to ensure efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the shift team to execute planned and unplanned activities within timelines with effective communication.
  2. Track and resolve complaints within SLA deviations.
  3. Manage incidents, conduct RCA, and implement recommendations on time with periodic reviews.
  4. Oversee asset management, warranty, AMC, lifecycle, and capacity management.
  5. Ensure 100% availability of equipment through 5 PPM tracking and completion with OEMs.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Vendor management with RAT and TAT on complaints.
  2. Track and maintain records for all stocks as per BCP requirements.
  3. Coordinate with CE teams for customer-related queries and submit reports on time.
  4. Maintain 100% compliance with periodic trackers.
  5. Adhere to physical security processes.
  6. Prepare risk assessments and periodic validations based on incidents and RCA.
  7. Update inventories regularly with capacity vs. accompany vs. balance on monthly bases.
  8. Submit reports on time with agreed timelines.
  9. Achieve 100% audit and compliance.
  10. Demonstrate knowledge in HSE.

Key Requirements:

  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Proven relevant work experience in the Data Center Industry.
  • Solid technical background with hands-on experience in data center infrastructure.
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
