
Field Service Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service delivery function, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning and demonstrating quality-control testing instruments. You will also schedule and perform maintenance, calibration and repairs, troubleshoot faults and escalate complex issues, and deliver timely technical support.
Responsibilities:
Instrument Installation and Commissioning:
You will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of quality-control testing instruments at customer sites.
Maintenance and Repair:
You will schedule and perform routine maintenance and repairs on quality-control testing instruments to ensure they are functioning optimally.
Troubleshooting and Escalation:
You will identify and troubleshoot faults with quality-control testing instruments and escalate complex issues to senior technicians or engineers as needed.
Technical Support:
You will provide timely technical support to customers via phone, email or on-site visits to ensure their quality-control testing instruments are operating correctly.
Requirements:
Experience:
4–5 years' hands-on experience with QC testing instruments (e.g., IIGM, Ramsons, Welco)
Education:
Bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering
Skillset:
Proficient in electronics/mechanics diagnostics, calibration standards and schematic interpretation
Other:
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
