
HR Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Process Payroll Accurately: Maintain timely and precise payroll processing for all staff members.
- Maintain Payroll Records: Ensure up-to-date records of employee data in HR systems.
- Ensure Compliance: Uphold labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies to prevent any non-compliance issues.
- Coordinate Employee Onboarding/Offboarding: Collaborate with the HR department for seamless employee onboarding/offboarding, promotions, and other payroll-impacting changes.
- Handle Payroll Components: Manage payroll deductions, benefits, garnishments, bonuses, and other compensation-related components.
- Prepare Payroll Reports: Generate reports for internal use and external audits, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
- Respond to Employee Inquiries: Address employee concerns related to payroll, taxes, and earnings with professionalism and expertise.
- Collaborate with Finance: Work closely with the finance department to reconcile payroll-related accounts, ensuring financial accuracy.
- Assist with Year-End Activities: Support year-end activities such as tax form distribution (e.g., W-2).
- Stay Updated with Payroll Laws and Regulations: Continuously update knowledge of payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
- Payroll Software Knowledge: Strong understanding of payroll software and HR systems.
- Local Labor Laws Familiarity: Familiarity with local labor laws and payroll compliance regulations.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and strong analytical skills to maintain payroll accuracy.
- Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
