Strategic Procurement Leader

We are seeking an accomplished executive to oversee our procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Excellence:
    • Diligently identify and assess suppliers/vendors for raw materials, machinery spares, consumables, and services.
    • Negotiate contracts that balance cost-effectiveness with quality and delivery timelines.
    • Develop strategic sourcing strategies to ensure uninterrupted supply.
  • Supplier Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers.
    • Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, and delivery efficiency.
    • Negotiate terms, payment conditions, and service level agreements.
  • Purchase Operations:
    • Issue Purchase Orders (POs) in line with company policies and approvals.
    • Ensure timely procurement of materials as per production schedules.
    • Maintain accurate inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams for replenishment.
  • Cost Efficiency:
    • Implement initiatives to reduce costs without compromising quality or delivery standards.
    • Benchmark prices to identify opportunities for long-term contracts.
  • Compliance & Record-Keeping:
    • Maintain detailed records of procurement activities, including POs, invoices, GRNs, and contracts.
    • Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
    • Coordinate with finance for vendor payments and reconciliations.
  • Collaboration & Issue Resolution:
    • Foster close relationships with production, quality, accounts, and logistics teams to optimize supply chain operations.
    • Resolve material-related issues with suppliers and internal departments.
