Portfolio Strategist Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Portfolio Strategist to join our team.

As a Portfolio Strategist, you will be responsible for identifying new product opportunities in Emerging Markets. Your insights will support the portfolio selection committee's decisions and drive our portfolio strategy planning, aligning with our growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new product/molecule opportunities across therapies in the small molecules' space based on medical and marketing feasibility.
  • Develop and update business cases for new products proposed for selection in the portfolio selection meeting.
  • Track market updates such as label expansions, competition entry, safety warnings, quarterly sales for innovator brands, and API supplier information for selected products.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to stay abreast of market trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of IP landscape in pharma across markets.
  • Good understanding of pharma regulatory in at least US, EU, and Emerging markets.
  • Good analytical skills with command in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • M. Pharm/M.Sc Chemistry/MBA (preferably from Tier I Institute/University).
  • 3-5 years in Portfolio, Strategy, and/or IPM.
