UAV Propulsion Systems Engineer

This is a critical role in the design and development of UAV propulsion systems, with a focus on integration, calibration, and diagnostics.

About This Job

We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead our UAV propulsion systems team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field, and will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of UAV propulsion systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Integration and Calibration: Develop and implement procedures for the integration and calibration of UAV propulsion systems, ensuring that they meet performance and safety requirements.
  2. Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Design and implement diagnostic tools and procedures for UAV propulsion systems, enabling rapid identification and resolution of issues.
  3. Performance Optimization: Optimize UAV propulsion system performance through advanced calibration and tuning techniques, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in UAV propulsion systems design, development, and testing.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials science, and control systems.
  • Experience with CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
