Senior Application Developer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Application Developer to join our team. As an integral part of our software development lifecycle, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing complex applications using OutSystems.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in OutSystems development, with expertise in C/C++ and operating system internals. They should also possess multi-platform and multi-dimensional experience, as well as expert-level knowledge of business and technical applications.

In this role, the individual will be expected to develop responsive user interfaces, mentor junior developers, and provide troubleshooting support. The successful candidate will also be able to identify, evaluate, and fix application performance bottlenecks.

Key responsibilities include leading efforts with web and marketing teams to increase the presence of web products, implementing improvements in stability, performance, and scalability, and owning the change request process.

The successful candidate will also develop and define application scope and objectives, supervise the preparation of technical and/or functional specifications, perform technical design reviews, and ensure unit tests are completed and meet test plan requirements.

Requirements
  • 4+ years OutSystems experience with expertise in C/C++ and operating system internals
  • Multi-platform, multi-dimensional experience, and expert level experience with business and technical applications
  • 3+ years of experience in implementing Front End User Interface and development
  • Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux or Windows Kernel architecture
  • Strong experience with web technologies, preferred REST, JSON and XML Web Services
  • Ability to conduct technical reviews during software development life cycle and prescribe optimizations and improvement measures
