Job Title: Department Leader

Overview:

  • Supervise a team of approximately 15 nurses.
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and operational efficiency in various areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to the nursing team.
  • Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and patient flow.
  • Develop and implement effective nursing policies and procedures according to best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing constructive feedback and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments for seamless patient care.
  • Manage resources effectively and maintain accurate patient records.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (essential).
  • Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice in Tanzania (or eligible for registration).
  • Experience in a leadership role, preferably in a hospital or health center setting.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Strong leadership qualities, proactive approach, and commitment to excellence in patient care.
  • Effective communicator, team player, and role model for the nursing profession.
