Job Title: Big Data Engineer

About the Role:

This is a pivotal position where you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale data systems. As a Big Data Engineer, your primary focus will be on leveraging various technologies such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Cosmos DB, Event Hub, Streaming Analytics, and ADLS to build efficient data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable big data solutions using Hadoop (CDH or HDP), Spark, Airflow, NiFi, Kafka, Hive, HBase, MongoDB, Neo4J, Elastic Search, Impala, and Sqoop.
  • Craft robust programming skills in Python or Scala/Java, ensuring high-quality code that meets the needs of our organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop REST services that support BI and Data Science teams in consuming data securely and governed manner.
  • Set up cloud-computing infrastructure solutions and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Gain hands-on experience with NoSQL Databases and Data Modelling in Hive, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
  • Maintain 6+ years of technical experience with at least 2 years on MS Azure and 2 years on Hadoop (CDH/HDP).
  • Possess a B.Tech/B.E degree from a reputable institute.
