Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to lead and mentor a team responsible for the end-to-end General Ledger process. This individual will oversee and execute all aspects of month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team responsible for the General Ledger process
  • Oversee and execute month-end close activities
  • Prepare and propose journal entries based on complex transactions and unique business situations
  • Apply knowledge of accounting treatments to ensure compliance with relevant standards
  • Critically review the Income Statement and identify anomalies
  • Propose and execute rectification and reclassification entries
  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations and resolve aged and open items
Requirements:
  • 8-12 years of overall experience in accounting and finance
  • 5+ years of dedicated experience in Record to Report (R2R) and General Ledger (GL) processes
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team
  • Exceptional knowledge of accounting principles and treatments
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
