Job Title: Database Software Engineer

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Database Software Engineer is to develop and maintain large-scale databases that support complex applications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, implementing, and testing database systems to meet specific business requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining database software components using programming languages such as Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Ensuring data integrity and security by implementing robust database backup and recovery processes.

  • Proactive identification and resolution of technical issues impacting database performance and availability.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in database development, preferably with Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Strong understanding of database design principles and database management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based databases and migration strategies.
