Senior Scientist - Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics

Aurigene Oncology Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist to lead our drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK) efforts in Moradabad, India. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in the development of innovative therapeutic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Execute Studies: Conduct DMPK studies to support antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) and monoclonal antibody (mAb) programs from discovery through IND-enabling stages.
  2. Quantify Biologics: Develop and execute methods for quantifying biologics, including antibodies, therapeutic proteins, ADCs, and peptides using LC-MS/MS, MSD, and ELISA platforms.
  3. Apply Advanced Bioinformatics Tools: Utilize bioinformatics tools such as BioPharma Finder, MaxQuant, Spectronaut, and other relevant analytical software to analyze complex DMPK data.
  4. Identify Lead Candidates: Employ innovative techniques to identify and select ADC and mAb lead candidates with strong focus on DMPK profiling for safe and effective therapeutic development.
  5. Interpret Data: Interpret complex DMPK data and provide actionable insights to cross-functional project teams.
  6. Represent DMPK Functions: Represent DMPK functions in internal and external meetings, fostering collaboration and strategic alignment.
  7. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Departments: Collaborate with cross-functional departments to address ADC-related challenges and deliver integrated solutions from target validation to IND submission.
  8. Author and Review Documentation: Author and review SOPs, study protocols, reports, and regulatory documentation to support both GLP and non-GLP studies.
  9. Maintain Strong Foundational Knowledge: Maintain strong foundational knowledge of DMPK principles, including PK/PD, toxicology, and translational sciences.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Pharmacology or Pharmaceutical Analysis or M.Sc. in Biochemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry with 12-15 years' experience or Ph.D. with 5 years' experience.
  • Expertise in DMPK, bioanalysis, and biopharmaceuticals.
  • Strong communication, innovation, and team leadership skills.
