Job Summary

Premier Energies is seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial candidate to join its Procurement team as Associate Manager/Manager - Procurement. This role will be based at the Corporate Office in Hyderabad.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving Bill of Material from the Design Department and seeking quotations from all vendors. They will also prepare cash flow plans, make comparisons, and put up quotes to management for decision-making. Additionally, they will release purchase/work orders to vendors with appropriate payment terms and delivery conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely material delivery.
  • Monitor and control costs incurred on projects.
  • Prepare comparative quotations and put up to management for decision.
  • Release purchase/work orders to vendors with appropriate payment terms and delivery conditions.
  • Ensure invoices are entered into SAP.
  • Provide weekly financial project progress reports to the Management.
  • Develop and maintain a database of vendors.
  • Support Tender/BD team in costing of upcoming projects/Tenders.
  • Collaborate with the site project management to minimize communication gaps between departments.
  • Monitor expenses and manage resources effectively.
  • Manage relationships with existing and new suppliers.

Qualifications

  • A Graduate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 7-10 years of experience in Procurement.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and raw materials.
  • Good negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Analytics.
