About the Role:
The Operations Manager, Branch Banking Specialist, Consumer Banking Expert is a key role in our Consumer Banking Group, responsible for leading and managing all operational functions of the branch with zero errors.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and control all operational functions of the branch to ensure high quality service and internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with centralized operations teams to maintain efficient processes and timely receipt and submission of regulatory reports.
- Participate in process improvement exercises within the branch/cluster to identify areas for productivity enhancement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Lead team meetings internally within Ops as well as with business teams of the branch and circulate minutes to stakeholders at regular intervals.
- Perform other job duties and responsibilities assigned by the branch Head from time to time or on an ad-hoc basis.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4-6 years' experience in General Branch Banking Operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- A degree in any discipline, with additional qualifications in Banking/Finance/Law or MBA being an added advantage.
- Knowledge of all aspects of branch banking and Operations, with good understanding and working experience of regulatory and compliance aspects.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and enhance customer relations and coordination with Relationship Managers and Centralized Operations.
- Leadership and management skills, with sound knowledge of computer systems and ability to work on different software packages.
- Analytical skills to drive business growth and success.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary package and the professional advantages of a dynamic environment that supports your development and recognizes your achievements. The estimated annual salary range for this role is ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000, based on location and experience.
