Job Title: Interior Designer

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Interior Designer to assist in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces for residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop design concepts, mood boards, and 3D visualizations in collaboration with senior designers and leadership.
  • Assist in space planning and layout design to ensure optimal functionality and aesthetics.
  • Select and source materials, furnishings, fixtures, and finishes in line with the project's design concept and budget.
  • Costing and BOQ tackling is a significant aspect of this role.
  • Create detailed drawings, renderings, and specifications using design software and tools.
  • Prepare design presentations for clients, including 2D and 3D visualizations.
  • Research and recommend suitable materials and furnishings for projects that are new in the market or better alternatives.
  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely execution of design plans.
  • Participate in client meetings and discussions to gather requirements, present design concepts, and address client feedback.
  • Manage project budgets by tracking expenses and ensuring design choices align with financial constraints.
  • Maintain accurate project files, records, and documentation for reference and future projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of interior design principles, concepts, and practices.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Sound knowledge of technical drawings & 3D software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new design trends and technologies.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interior Designer.
