Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to develop and implement electrical systems, equipment selections, specifications, and related processes for commercial, industrial, and domestic projects. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving electrical systems.

  • Design and Implementation:
    • Develop detailed technical construction drawings, calculations, and specifications for electrical systems using computer-assisted engineering or design software/tools (AutoCAD, REVIT, Navisworks, Dialux). Ensure that installation and operations conform to standards, codes, and customer requirements.
  • Technical Specifications:
    • Perform detailed calculations and prepare relevant technical specifications, sequence of operations, and details for the project as per customer requirements and existing conditions.
  • Code Compliance:
    • Review design concept, calculations, drawings to ensure accuracy of design intent, Code Compliance, and customer requirements.
  • Engineering Submittals:
    • Review Engineering submittals, shop drawings, and various construction administration procedures to provide quick turnaround during the project's construction phase.
  • Training and Development:
    • Develop training modules, calculation procedures, and other company tool development methods used in Design & Execution. Train young engineers to conform to standards & improve performances.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Coordinate with clients, project managers, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery of projects as per schedule and requirements.
  • Cost Estimation:
    • Develop cost estimation & Bill of materials as per design concept.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ Years of experience in Electrical Design Engineering
  • Strong skills in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Must have worked with Building Services
  • Team handling experience
  • Experience with International projects preferred
  • Good Communication Skills
