Senior Tester Role

About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tester to support the implementation of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test cases, documenting defects, and ensuring the reliability and performance of BTP integrations, particularly in transitions from Process Integration (PI)/Process Orchestration (PO) to Integration Suite.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for BTP functionality, including Integration Suite, Enablement, Security, and Access.
  • Review functional and technical specifications and translate them into business test requirements.
  • Create test scenarios, scripts, and manage execution based on project scope.
  • Support test automation by developing scripts or enabling testing tools.
  • Validate data consistency and accuracy across source and target systems during testing.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure system stability after updates.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve defects and enhance performance.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Align testing efforts with business objectives by working closely with project managers, business analysts, and architects.
  • Share test progress, results, and defect reports regularly.
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing tools and processes.

Required Expertise:

  • 10+ years of experience in software testing, including 3+ years in BTP projects.
  • Strong understanding of BTP and Integration Suite.
  • Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools.
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), SAP Cloud ALM (CALM), Mercury Testing, Tricentis.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BTP and SAP Activate certifications.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Familiarity with DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) in testing workflows.
