Overview:

  • We are seeking a seasoned Research Consultant to lead our team of senior analysts, analysts, and associates in providing techno-commercial research & advisory services in chemicals & materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop winning proposals that address client business problems by designing commercial frameworks and presenting effective solutions.
  • Support business development tasks, contribute to marketing outreach programs, and create industry decks, white papers, and case studies.
  • Lead end-to-end management of business research or consulting engagements, stay up-to-date with recent industry happenings, and be aware of latest trends like sustainability and digitization.
  • Handle client communication, including kick-off calls, deliverable presentations, and feedback sessions.
  • Articulate technical, business, and analytical discussions through excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Generate insights and actionable recommendations for clients using a strong analytical mindset and technical background.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in chemical & material science or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum six years of experience in business research or consulting engagements.
  • Primary research experience, ability to train team members, and improve their primary research skills.
  • Experience in handling teams of qualified professionals, market analysis, business analysis, and technology analysis.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, forecasting, and business writing.
  • Self-organization, planning, maturity, and attention to detail.
