Quality Assurance Automation Engineer Role
  • We are seeking an accomplished Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to spearhead the development and execution of automated test scripts.

 

About This Position

This is a great opportunity for you if you have experience in writing automated test scripts using Selenium, WebdriverIO, Protractor, Cypress, and Playwright.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of test automation frameworks (POM, BDD with Cucumber, Mocha/Jest) and be able to write and optimize SQL and SOQL queries to validate data in relational databases and Salesforce.

You will collaborate with developers and QA team members to identify test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and coverage gaps. Furthermore, you will perform functional, regression, cross-browser, and data validation testing.

As a key member of our team, you will analyze and troubleshoot automation failures, logging detailed defects in tracking tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.

Your responsibilities will also include reporting on quality metrics and continuously improving automation coverage and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, WebdriverIO, Protractor, Cypress, and Playwright.

Build scalable test automation frameworks (POM, BDD with Cucumber, Mocha/Jest).

Write and optimize SQL and SOQL queries to validate data in relational databases and Salesforce.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

Collaborate with developers and QA team to identify test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and coverage gaps.

Perform functional, regression, cross-browser, and data validation testing.

Analyze and troubleshoot automation failures, logging detailed defects in tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps).

Report on quality metrics and continuously improve automation coverage and reliability.

Requirements
  • Experience in writing automated test scripts using Selenium, WebdriverIO, Protractor, Cypress, and Playwright.
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks (POM, BDD with Cucumber, Mocha/Jest).
  • Understanding of SQL and SOQL queries for validating data in relational databases and Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
  • Collaborative skills with developers and QA team to identify test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and coverage gaps.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
