Job Title: Software Test Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced software test automation specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automation testing, C# programming, and testing web services and REST APIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate test cases into automation scripts using C# for GUI and API testing.
  • Maintain adherence to coding standards and guidelines defined for automation.
  • Perform manual testing of web-based applications and services in a client-server environment.
  • Be proactive in working on both manual and automation testing.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of web-based architecture and troubleshoot web or server errors.
  • Conduct functional, database, sanity, integration, and regression testing independently, adhering to Agile development methodologies.
  • Review code and resolve issues identified in scheduled automation runs.
  • Analyze script failures and logged bugs.
  • Submit and track defects identified through automation.
  • Elevate and follow up on blocking issues and deviations from standard operating procedures in a timely manner.
  • Exhibit strong knowledge in software development life cycle and system testing life cycle processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expertise in automation testing.
  • Strong experience in C# programming.
  • Possess experience in testing web services and REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with service testing tools like Fiddler, SOAP UI, POSTMAN, Protractor, and Playwright.
