Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Specialist to join our team. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing manual and automated tests, verifying feature functionality, and ensuring high-quality solutions through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth proficiency in IP-based fixed access networks and Layer 1, 2, and 3 protocols, as well as hands-on experience with traffic testing tools like Spirent, Ixia, or Router Tester. Experience with GPON, DSL, and MoCA technologies is also a plus.

We value a strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), bug lifecycles, and software testing practices. Familiarity with cloud technologies like Kubernetes and Elasticsearch/Kibana is also beneficial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement manual and automated tests to validate feature functionality
  • Maintain features deployed in customer networks and ensure high-quality solutions through collaboration with R&D and Product Management teams
  • Gather real-world customer feedback to enhance product development and implementation
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Engineering stream with 5+ years of experience
  • Conceptual knowledge of networks, particularly IP-based fixed access networks and Layer 1, 2, and 3 protocols, such as DHCP, PPP, IGMP, LACP, 802.1x, and QoS, with the ability to set up test topologies for protocol verification
  • Hands-on experience with traffic testing tools such as Spirent, Ixia, or Router Tester for end-to-end testing
  • Experience with GPON, DSL, and MoCA technologies and an understanding of their testing requirements
  • Programming experience in automation scripting languages like Python, Tcl, or Perl
