JOB SUMMARY

A highly skilled Project Lead is sought to oversee the development and implementation of passenger car body-in-white (BIW) solutions. This role requires expertise in BIW structure, assembly, and design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in project management, team leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement project plans to meet business objectives and deadlines
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and manufacture BIW components
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and services
  • Manage budgets and resources to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders and senior management

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in BIW design, development, and manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of DFM and DFA principles and practices
  • Expertise in CAD software, such as NX surfacing
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
