Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute embedded system test activities, leveraging use cases for test case development.
  • Develop comprehensive automated and manual tests tracing tests to requirements for complete test coverage.
  • Identify and diagnose firmware and software defects, verifying correctness and reporting results.
  • Apply knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines and product specs to guide software test efforts.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Embedded System Automation testing.

Critical Success Factors:

  • Ability to develop and execute firmware test environments and test scripts for automated test.
  • Experience using configuration management tools like git, Subversion, or GitLab.
  • Demonstrated experience using scripting languages like Bash/shell, Perl, Python, C, C++, C# etc.
  • Prior experience with Jira, Test Mo, HPALM, or other requirements/test case management tools.
  • Experience in debugging and troubleshooting embedded systems issues.
  • Exposure to multiple high-level programming languages including Python, C++ and C.
  • Experience in various wireless communication protocols like BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, UHF etc.
  • Experience in IR Protocol.
  • Experience in sniffing and debugging wireless data using sniffing tools.
  • Experience in End-to-end testing of Embedded systems products.
  • Experience in using various tools like Wireshark, Logic analyzer, Joule scope, Variable DC power supplies etc.

Academic Qualification:

  • B.E or M.E in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum based on location and experience.
