Strategic Initiative Manager

As a strategic initiative manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth and operational excellence within the organization.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Own and manage end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives from planning to implementation with a focus on maximizing revenue and customer experience.
  2. Develop and execute comprehensive strategies that align with the company's overarching goals and vision.
  3. Prioritize critical projects that drive long-term growth and align daily tasks and resources towards achieving these high-impact goals.
  4. Directly manage critical projects ensuring proper tracking and monitoring of key milestones risks and dependencies.
  5. Provide data-backed insights and recommendations to senior leadership facilitating high-stakes decision-making with precision and accuracy.
  6. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver on key initiatives from business development and operations to finance and marketing.
  7. Identify and proactively address project risks creating contingency plans to mitigate obstacles and ensure critical timelines are met.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Influence:
  1. Facilitate seamless coordination between business and support functions to execute strategic initiatives and ensure smooth project delivery.
  2. Lead negotiations and discussions with partners clients and key decision-makers to ensure strategic objectives are understood supported and executed.
  3. Maintain consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders ensuring alignment on project scope timelines and expected outcomes.
Thought Partnership & Decision Support:
  1. Act as a trusted advisor for senior leadership providing clarity and direction in ambiguous business situations leveraging data research and industry insights.
  2. Apply structured problem-solving techniques and first-principles thinking to deconstruct challenges and identify effective data-driven solutions.
  3. Lead the development of compelling business cases for new initiatives including competitor research ROI analysis and customer impact studies.
  4. Regularly assess the performance of ongoing projects and initiatives providing feedback and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Leadership & Team Development:
  1. Support senior leadership in enhancing their leadership effectiveness including coaching and facilitating discussions.
  2. Work with HR and department leads to design performance metrics track team progress and ensure alignment with business goals.
  3. Identify develop and mentor high-potential leaders within the organization ensuring a strong internal leadership pipeline.
Strategic Communication & Brand Representation:
  1. Act as the communication backbone for senior leadership managing internal and external communications including crafting updates presentations and strategic reports.
  2. Represent the organization in key industry forums public events and stakeholder meetings positioning the firm as a leader in the real estate industry.
  3. Use analytics and insights to craft compelling data-backed communications that inform stakeholders of strategic progress decisions and outcomes.
Operational Excellence:
  1. Identify and drive improvements in business operations focusing on increasing efficiency reducing costs and enhancing customer experience.
  2. Oversee the integration of new tools platforms and technologies ensuring new processes are seamlessly integrated into existing systems and aligned with organizational objectives.
  3. Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure teams are fully equipped to deliver on strategic goals ensuring scalability for future growth.
  4. Ensure all projects comply with industry regulations sustainability practices and internal policies.
Market Trend Analysis:
  1. Constantly evaluate market trends competitor activities and customer feedback to keep the organization ahead of industry shifts and technological advances.
  2. Identify and propose new business opportunities that align with organizational long-term goals focusing on growth and profitability.
  3. Promote a culture of continuous learning and knowledge-sharing within the organization ensuring teams remain agile and innovative.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required with preference for degrees in Real Estate Business Administration or related fields; MBA or equivalent advanced degree from a tier 1 institution.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a strategic planning Chief of Staff or leadership role in the real estate industry or similar fast-paced sectors.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of the real estate industry including market trends regulations and key performance metrics. Expertise in corporate strategy operational planning and project management within a real estate context. Experience in driving change within real estate organizations including technology adoption process optimization and cultural transformation. Ability to analyze performance metrics and leverage data to inform decisions and strategies.

Skills:

  • Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to break down complex problems analyze data and create actionable solutions to drive business outcomes.
  • Project Management: Proficient in managing large-scale projects using methodologies such as Agile or Lean and keeping multiple projects on track simultaneously.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to present ideas and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to drive teams towards common goals and hold them accountable.
  • Negotiation and Relationship Management: Ability to work effectively with clients partners and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in multiple real estate projects from founders/CEO office.
  • Previous experience in high-growth real estate firms market expansion initiatives or large-scale property development projects is a plus.
  • Strong track record of successfully delivering strategic initiatives that drive growth operational excellence and market competitiveness.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action deep ownership and comfort working in ambiguous fast-changing environments.
