Senior Software Engineer for Distributed Applications


Our organization seeks a skilled software engineer to design, develop, and maintain low-latency distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in C++11 or newer, Linux-based systems programming, data structures, algorithms, and computational complexity.

The role provides the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, define system requirements, and deliver robust solutions. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining real-time distributed applications, collaborating with traders, quants, and devops teams, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery and integration of software.

Required Skills:

  • 6+ years of experience developing real-time applications in C++ (C++11 or newer)
  • Deep understanding of Linux-based systems programming and performance tuning
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and computational complexity
  • Proven experience with multithreading, concurrency, and inter-process communication
  • Experience with the Boost libraries

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with fixed income products, such as bonds, treasuries, credits or interest rate derivatives
  • Prior experience in investment banking, proprietary trading firms, or hedge funds
  • Understanding of market data feeds, order management systems, and electronic trading protocols
  • Programming skills in Java

Education / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
