Main Responsibilities:
  • Determine the scope of testing within the context of each release or delivery.
  • Inform the Test Lead or Manager of testing progress.
  • Collaborate with other testers to ensure thorough testing.
  • Coordinate with BA's, functional leads, and Development teams.
  • Assist in planning and managing testing efforts for releases.
  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases.
  • Identify and report defects found during testing.
  • Work with development teams to resolve defects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • e-commerce domain expertise: Proven experience in mobile and web testing within e-commerce.
  • API testing: Good understanding of API testing concepts.
  • SDLC knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of software development life cycles (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile).
  • Test plan execution: Proficient in writing and executing test plans in structured environments.
  • Testing types: Experience in Integration Testing, Functional Testing, Black Box Testing, User Acceptance Testing, System Testing, Smoke Testing, and Regression Testing.
  • Test scenario creation: Ability to identify test scenarios, estimate test effort, and create test plans.
  • Jira and Agile experience: Working experience with Jira and Agile-driven projects.
  • Performance testing and analytics: Good to have experience in performance testing and Firebase Analytics.
  • Mobile testing tools: Advantageous to have experience with tooling for mobile testing.
  • Communication skills: Strong written and communication skills.
  • Managerial and testing techniques: Implement effective managerial and testing techniques.
  • Test data preparation: Experienced in preparing test data, creating test cases, and executing tests.
  • Client-focused service delivery: Very client-focused with regards to service delivery.
