Senior Application Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned application engineer to join our team. As a senior application engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing secure, scalable, and compliant software applications.

  • Your primary focus will be on building enterprise-grade features, workflows, and system integrations supporting regulatory and export compliance globally.
  • You will collaborate with engineering teams, domain experts, and compliance stakeholders to build robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and enhance Global Trade Compliance applications.
  • Collaborate with legal, engineering, operations, and compliance teams to gather and implement business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Benchmark best practices for secure coding, system-level reliability, and performance tuning.
  • Develop clean, testable code and contribute to automation and unit test coverage.
  • Align work hours with global stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience in trade compliance or regulatory domains.
  • Strong experience with:
  • Oracle Watchlist Screening (OWS)
  • Oracle Enterprise Data Quality (OEDQ)
  • AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.)
  • Oracle DB, SQL Queries
  • REST/SOAP API development and integrations
