About our research organization:

We are a pioneering biotech company specializing in sustainable solutions for food, feed and fuel. Leveraging seaweed biomass as a raw material, we have developed automated technologies for large-scale seaweed cultivation.

Applications are invited from candidates with expertise in biochemical engineering or bioprocess engineering. The person will be responsible for the execution and analysis of research projects related to seaweed processing and extraction.

Education qualifications: MS degree (by research) / MTech degree (biochemical/bioprocess/chemical engineering) with at least 2 years of research experience or a BTech degree with about 3-4 years of work experience is desired.

Responsibilities include process development, planning and execution on unit operations like hydrolysis, extraction, evaporation and spray drying.

Additional responsibilities include microbial fermentation, downstream processing operations, process troubleshooting, cost optimization and alternate process conditions explorations.

Key deliverables include data analysis, reporting and coordination with third party laboratory providing services such as mass spectrometry, ICP-OES etc.
