Job Summary:

A senior technical role at the heart of the configuration or development team. With a passion for technology, innovation, and collaboration they keep their knowledge current, continuously seeking to design, build, and deliver better than yesterday.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Leads functional testing efforts across all development stages, ensuring alignment with functional requirements and focusing on risk-based prioritization.
  • Provides authoritative advice on testing methods, tools, and frameworks.
  • Monitors and improves test coverage, collaborates with teams to address challenges, and ensures compliance with standards.
  • Leads efforts to improve the efficiency and reliability of functional testing.
  • Identifies improvements and contributes to organizational policies, standards, and guidelines for functional testing.
  • Ensures delivery of high-quality software products through appropriate use of analysis tools, control gates, and peer reviews.
  • Be involved with and promote the evaluation of emerging technologies, models, methods, etc., to enable competitive differentiation and strengthening of existing product technology; drives adoption within the squad as required.
  • Drives optimization of the engineering lifecycle through a systematic knowledge management and continuous learning process to better enable the organization to meet market and client needs.
  • Mentors and guides all engineers within the home and assists with technical challenges as needed.
  • Shows a sense of ownership & pride within the squad and the wider home to deliver high-quality work and institutes a self-directed and high-performance culture in the team.
  • Involves themselves in the development of a strong talent pipeline throughout the wider home by helping the Manger Engineer in hiring, internal movements, succession planning, talent reviews, etc.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Any technical graduation; engineering, computer science, etc. Preferred, post-graduation in advanced computer science subjects and MBA in Systems.
