Leadership Role: Strategic Data Architect

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of data architects and engineers to design and implement large-scale data analytics solutions on the Databricks Unified Data Analytics platform.

  • Develop and maintain technical strategies to drive business growth and innovation in the field of data analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains competitive.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or AI/ML with at least 3 years focused on Databricks.
  • Proficiency in architectural best practices in cloud computing, including user management, data privacy, data security, performance, and other non-functional requirements.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale data and AI/ML workloads on Databricks.
  • Deep knowledge of Spark, Delta Lake, Python/Scala, SQL, and data pipeline orchestration.
  • Certification preferred (e.g., Lakehouse Fundamentals, Data Engineer Associate/Professional).
