Job Title:

Financial Accountant

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial accounting principles, including US taxation and regulatory compliance. The successful applicant will have experience in managing financial operations, preparing financial reports, and overseeing payroll management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis to support decision-making at the leadership level.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial transparency and compliance with accounting standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in financial accounting, fund accounting, or a related role, with a strong understanding of US taxation for venture capital firms.
  • Experience in payroll management, with in-depth knowledge of Indian tax laws.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, including US GAAP and fund accounting practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or other relevant certifications preferred.
