Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled RTL Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the group, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing cutting-edge digital systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements Analysis: Understand customer's specifications and tender enquiries to define DSP, System, and Board architecture.
  • Project Ownership: Manage projects from concept to delivery, including risk identification, dependency management, mitigation planning, schedule tracking, and design reviews.
  • Algorithm Partitioning: Divide algorithms for implementation in FPGA and/or software, identifying building blocks and signal processing functions.
  • Resource Estimation: Provide estimates on FPGA resources, computation bandwidth, and memory bandwidth.
  • Module Development: Create module-level details from architecture, coding, simulation, and peer review, applying design, verification, and validation methodologies.
  • Documentation: Define, create, and maintain project-related documentation, especially design documents with detailed analysis reports.
  • Customer Support: Provide support during integration phases at test sites and to production teams.
Professional Skills
  • VHDL Knowledge: Proficient in VHDL language for digital system design.
  • Xilinx Tools: Experienced in using Xilinx tools for synthesis and implementation.
  • FPGA Expertise: Thorough understanding of Xilinx FPGAs and their applications.
  • Functional Simulation: Skilled in functional simulation and hardware design.
  • FPGA Design: Experienced in VHDL/Verilog RTL coding, System C/System Verilog, and FPGA synthesis and PAR tools.
  • ADC/DAC Interfacing: Working knowledge of interfacing with ADCs and DACs and interpreting their performance.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and fluency skills.
  • Version Control: Familiarity with configuration/version control tools like SVN.
